By EMILY MITCHELL/Reported by Wendy Cole

Inside every macho actor is a melancholy Prince of Denmark
waiting to get out. Director Franco Zeffirelli saw Mel Gibson
in Mad Max and Lethal Weapon and, he says, "I wanted to make
Hamlet with him. He was my only choice." The film, with Glenn
Close as Hamlet's mother, will be released in December. And

it, trippingly on the tongue?
